About our Speakers:
Rim graduated from Messiah College with a BA in Mathematics, after which she taught mathematics in Lancaster, PA, Weston, MA, and at the United Nations International School in Manhattan. In 1996, Rim founded The Geneva School of Manhattan in 1996, where she currently serves as head of school. She also served as a Bible Study Fellowship Teaching leader in the Manhattan evening ladies class from 1996 to 2000, and has served on the boards of the NYC charter school PAVE Academy in Redhook, Hope for New York, the Society of Classical Learning, and Messiah University.
Carter is currently the Executive Director of Redeemer East Side Presbyterian Church where he's been a member and an Elder for over 30 years. He's also on the Board of Redeemer City to City, the Church Planting and Leadership Development arm of Redeemer. Outside of Redeemer, Carter leads Convene, a cohort of Christian CEOs who meet monthly. Before retiring, Carter was a Managing Partner at Blue Ridge Partners, a management consulting firm. He also started, ran, and eventually sold a CRM software and services company. Carter has a Masters in Computer Science as well as an MBA from Harvard. Rim and Carter have two grown sons C.J. and Charlie.
