Statement of Purpose
• Hephzibah Ministries depends on God through
prayer to supply and maximize the use of human and
material resources entrusted to the ministry. Prayer is our primary activity, knowing
that our Lord says “without Me you can do nothing.”
• Hephzibah Ministries seeks to equip
believers capable of serving their generation
worldwide through Biblical instruction and a modeled
Christian witness.
• Hephzibah Ministries seeks to share the
Gospel with everyone so that those responding to
Christ might become obedient and effective
disciples, willing to assist in establishing His
Church wherever God may lead them. This
involves reaching all our New York City peoples, including those living outside of their home
culture, such as students, business workers,
diplomats, refugees, and temporary workers.
• Hephzibah Ministries seeks to place priority
on spiritually equipping all for serving Jesus
Christ in the context of their vocational calling.
• Hephzibah Ministries seeks to create and
distribute Biblical literature and discipleship
materials to further promote the vision of reaching and discipling the nations for Christ.
• Hephzibah Ministries assists and networks
with churches and other Christian organizations and
agencies for greater ministry
effectiveness by providing short-term accommodations
for missionaries and other Christian workers when
their work brings them to New York City.
• Hephzibah Ministries will be open to
ministry among New York Prisons and especially to
the incarcerated at Sing-Sing Prison.
