Side, and is situated between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue. |

| If you have the opportunity to take public transportation into the
city, you may want to do so. But if you drive, the directions below may
be helpful. Manhattan, by many, is a walker's paradise, and many people
walk everywhere. We can be helpful to you in your plans to walk. But if
walking is not your option, a cab is quite helpful. They are somewhat
expensive depending of course on your destination, but they do remove
some of the fears of getting lost in such a large city. The charge in a
cab is the same for three or four as for one person. |

| Free street parking is available in our neighborhood, but in great
demand. So you will need to do some hunting (after all, it is New York).
And this adds time to your schedule. We can direct you in this matter
because there is a car movement for street cleaning purposes that may be
helpful. And yes, there are parking garages in the neighborhood, but
their price is costly per day. Because we have a fire hydrant in front
of our building, it is possible to park there for a moment, unload
luggage, and then move on to your destination. |

| Best Route by Car |
| From 1-95 (Cross-Bronx Freeway), take the Henry Hudson Parkway South
(Route 9-A) to 79th Street Exit. Go around the rotary at the end of ramp
under the bridge and proceed onto 79th Street until it dead-ends at the
Museum of Natural History. Go right at the light and travel one block.
Take a left at that stop-light and drive another block. Turn right at
Central Park West and drive south to 75th Street which is one-way headed
west. Turn right onto 75th street and look for our address of 51 on the
door of our building. We have high steps into our entrance and are
nearly at the end of the block close to Columbus Avenue. We are the
fourth building from Columbus Avenue, on the north side of the street. |

| Take the 1, 2 or 3 subway to 72nd St. As you exit on the 72nd St.
side, turn right and walk one long block to Columbus Ave. Take a left
and walk three blocks to W. 75th St. Turn right. We are on the left. |

| Take B or C train in basement of Port Authority bus terminal

| If you have heavy luggage and are not familiar with New York, we
advise taking a cab from the airport. The fare is $30.00 plus the bridge
toll which is rider's expense and a tip is expected of about $5.00...
the total cost is usually between $35 to $40 dollars. If you like
adventure and want to save money, take the M-60 bus for which you must
have the exact change from the terminal to W. 110th Street. It is $2.00.
At 110th and Broadway, transfer from the bus to the #1 subway line,
"downtown" only train, getting off at 72nd street stop. This train costs
another $2.00 with which you have purchased a card at the ticket
counter... a metro card. As you exit on 72nd street turn right and walk
one long block to Columbus Avenue, then take a left and walk up Columbus
Avenue three blocks to 75th street and turn right. We are only the
fourth building from the corner... address is on the door. |

| Olympia shuttle bus ($11 each way) to 42nd St. Port Authority bus
terminal. Take B or C train in basement of Port Authority bus terminal
"Uptown" to 72nd St. Exit onto Central Park West, and walk up three
blocks to 75th St. Turn left and walk to the end of the block. |

| We recommend a taxi. It is a flat fare of $35 plus $4.00 bridge toll
and $5.00 tip. If you want to try public transportation... For subway
service to Manhattan, take the blue, white and yellow Long-Term Parking
Lot Bus which departs every fifteen minutes, from all JFK terminals.
Busses stop at the Howard Beach Subway Station where passengers board
the "A" train, Get off at 72nd St. subway stop onto Central Park West,
and walk up three blocks to W. 75th St.. Turn left and walk to the end
of the block. Travel time is approximately 60-75 minutes from JFK to
mid-Manhattan. |
